The town of Ettrick, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), is proposing to replace the South Fork Beaver Creek Bridge along Robinson Lane, located approximately 0.3 miles north of the intersection of Robinson Lane and County D in the town of Ettrick, Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. The proposed project would also involve the construction of a temporary bypass on the downstream (west) side of the structure.
Traffic would be managed while the bridge is closed during construction with a temporary bypass structure as the roadway is a dead end. Access would be maintained for adjacent properties and emergency vehicles. Approximately 0.17 acres of TLE (Temporary Limited Easement) is anticipated to be needed for the temporary bypass installation. No changes to speed limit are proposed. Construction is anticipated for the summer of 2027. No impacts to areas of historical or archeological significance nor properties covered by the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act are anticipated. Informational materials detailing the proposed project will be available on the town of Ettrick’s website from July 8 – August 8, 2026. The objective of this Public Outreach is to provide adjacent property owners, interested citizens, and public officials with an opportunity to comment on the design for this project.
